Egypt Health Foundation invites specialized consulting, training and production entities to submit their technical and financial proposals for the implementation of an integrated national project aimed at developing an accredited scientific training curriculum for dealing with smokers and treating smoking, directed at health personnel in five Egyptian governorates, with full institutional accreditation from the Egyptian Health Council for the Foundation, the curriculum, the training platform and the lecturers.
The project is based on an existing guidance manual that requires updating and development. This will be undertaken by one or more specialist consultants, drawing on input from six international experts in smoking cessation programs and professional accreditation. The training curriculum will be developed and delivered by Egyptian university professors specializing in psychiatry, mental health, respiratory medicine, and public health, holding a doctorate in medicine or a master's degree with a Training of Trainers (TOT) certificate.
The program is offered entirely free of charge to the target groups, and is presented to the Ministry of Health and Population and other entities for the nomination and registration of the targeted health personnel.
The deadline for submitting bids is July 26, 2026.
